Where have we been you ask? Well, bikes have been stolen, bikes have been found, some have been fixed…but we’re back on track…and loving it! This week we add an easy beginner ride for the Western Australians out there with young ones they want to introduce to the great sport. Check out Lake Leschenaultia for a great example.

Ballarat riders are in an enviable position – they’ve got easier access to quality downhill trails than most others. Black Hill offers a maze of steep, rocky trail – most of which is all mountain friendly, with some more heavy duty riding for those with the extra travel.
As all locals will know – Ballarat gets wet and cold – so get out there and get amongst it – make the most of mild autumn weather and rip this hill to shreds. Also – for the benefit of those idiots I came across when I last rode there – NO MOTORBIKES. Enjoy!
